Adding Services to Trackvia/OMS
This is the process to follow for adding a Service into Trackvia should the need arise.
***NOTE: THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CONTENT CREATION TEAM, THERE IS A SEPARATE AUTOMATED PROCESS FOR ADDING CC RELATED SERVICES***
1) If you need to have a Service added, please submit a Feature & Issue Request Form so that the System Admin team can review and fulfill the request. Keep in mind that we will not add any services that already exist. Pricing and Descriptions can be changed in the Line Items fields, we do not want to create duplicate services just to change cost or name.
2) The System Admin team will then add the service into Trackvia, making sure to update the Service Category, and the Service Number as the next iteration in the service category.
2) Once the item is created, the System Admin team will send a communication note to the Accounting team to add the service into QBO. The "Combined Service Name"in Trackvia (e.g. GV101) will serve as the Service Name in QBO, and the "Service ID" in Trackvia (e.g. Rekey) will go into the "Description" field in QBO.
