Glass, Aluminum storefront and Herculite doors are a growing part of our industry. Overhead Concealed Closers are a part of that growth. In order to ensure we get the correct closer each time we order one the following is Loc-Doc Security’s policy.
The door should always be dropped to ID the closer
The degree of opening and the spring size should be noted on the parts request
90 and 105 are the most common.
Hold open or non hold open should be noted on the parts request
The Manufacture should be noted on the parts request
The standard spindle size is ½”
The extended spindle size various per manufacture

11/16”
⅞”
1 & 13/64”
¾”
Ect…..
If you order a closer you MUST measure the spindle.
Spindle Measurements are from the end of the spindle to the housing.
