Electronic Communication & Device Policy
The purpose of Loc-Doc, Inc.’s Electronic Communication is to effectively and intentionally process information on a timely manner.
As an employee of Loc-Doc, Inc you are provided with multiple outlets for the sole purpose of effective communication and information gathering. The following is detailed expectations and criteria for use of these devices.
Mobile Phone
Every Full Time Employee of Loc-Doc, Inc. is provided with a smart phone capable of voice and data communication.
During operating business hours each employee should be responsive to any and all phone communications from Customers and other Employees.
During On-Call periods each employee should be available to answer the phone and adequately answer customer questions or gather effective and adequate information for follow up (if required). Voicemail messages during on-call should not be primary; they should be secondary and avoided.
Voice and Text Communication is provided for the intention of easily sharing information with customers and employees. Personal use of these provisions should not be used in excess or interference with daily responsibilities.
Voicemail messages should be returned and monitored closely.
Condition of your smart phone should be maintained and any issues should be reported immediately.
Smart Phones are provided with a protective case and should be kept in the protective case to prevent damage.
Batteries should be charged prior to starting your workday.
E-Mail Etiquette
Every Full Time Employee of Loc-Doc, Inc is provided with an “@locdoc.net” email address.
E-mail Communication is provided for the intention of easily communicating traceable and notable information with customers and employees. Personal use of this provision should not be used in excess or interference with daily responsibilities.
ALL E-mail communication should be returned in a timely manner and ALL E-mail communication should be returned by End of Business EVERY DAY.
E-Mail should be kept orderly and organized for easily finding previous information.
All E-Mails should include the following:

Easy to follow information

Company Issued Computers
Many Employees of Loc-Doc, Inc will be provided computer workstations to perform various tasks. These devices should be operated with care. They are your responsibility and should be treated as such.
Computers are provided in working order and should be return as such.
Tablets
Many Employees of Loc-Doc, Inc will be provided with mobile tablets (Apple iPad or equivalent) capable of data communication and work order completion.
Tablets are provided in working order and should be returned as such.
Condition of your tablet should be maintained and any issues should be reported immediately
Batteries should be charged prior to starting your workday.
Tablets are provided with a protective case and should be kept in the protective case to prevent damage.

Each Device will have the following provided upon delivery.

Damage to any of these is the responsibility of the employee to replace
Repair / Replacement Policy
Although Loc-Doc, Inc has taken measures to prevent damage from electronic devices, inevitably accidents happen.
The following is the policy for repairs or replacements:
First Incident: Loc-Doc, Inc will cover the first $100 of the incident. The employee will be responsibly for the remaining repair cost.
Each incident should be reported immediately and repaired immediately.
Charges will be placed on provided Loc-Doc, Inc Credit Card and the remainder will be deducted through payroll.
Additional Incidents: The employee will be 100% responsible for any damage to the device. Each incident should be reported immediately and repaired immediately.
