Monday, May 18th Conference Call
Management (Chad):
don't forget our focus on our goal of adding 18k openings this year
new focus on efficiencies: to paraphrase a sportsman, "focus on doing your job with excellence; if each person performs with excellence, we win. if we're distracted by what others are doing, we lose."
last Wednesday we defined efficiency as "without waste"
another aspect of efficiency is minimizing distractions
don't try to do too many things at the same time, or you'll do all of them poorly
Chad's Challenge: next time you brush your teeth, try to simultaneously clean your mirror and see if you do either as well together as you can do them separately
please welcome Will Garaux, our new in-shop tech at the front counter, to Loc-Doc
Levi and Sam are both on vacation this week
contact William for Purchasing questions
contact Adam for Customer Success
the state of North Carolina has chosen to lift mask mandates, but please remember to follow each customer's mask guidelines when you're onsite and to respect their boundaries
Training (Thomas):
for this Wednesday's meeting, we will split into breakout rooms for smaller-group training
Service (Nathan):
we're currently at just over 4700 openings, which over a quarter of the way to our 18K goal
when onsite, ask customers if they want any other openings looked at
Fuel Gauge: $117K in margin - we need to keep our foot on the gas
keep efficiency in mind: look for opportunities at the office or in the field to save someone else some time
Projects (Mike):
cylinder install at 650 Tryon
lots of large door projects
remember to respect each customer's comfort zone when it comes to wearing a mask on their property
Access (Andrew):
Genadiy and Michael are on a big project
Derek and Craig are at Northlake Mall for camera installations
last Friday they installed a 15 foot pole with cameras on it
Anderson (Josh):
currently have four bikes to work on in the office
big projects are coming up in Anderson County
Purchasing (Sam):
Sam isn't here this week, but if he was, he would say "if you need parts same-day, call Purchasing to see if they can be sourced locally or are already at the warehouse"
