One Positive Thing

What's something you have accomplished in the past couple of months individually or as a department?

  • more vans under inventory

  • smoothly transitioning EBS into Loc-Doc

  • proactive training

  • developed a very positive relationship between the Lab and Assa Abloy

What have been some struggles over the past couple of months?

  • system limitations

  • change: letting go of the old and familiar ways

  • forgetting to thoroughly communicate with team members

  • starting some projects without a clear view of their scope, then struggling to deliver

  • straddling Loc-Doc's high professional standards and its culture of personability

  • sorting through big ideas and prioritizing them


What are some ways to create fans instead of customers?

  • understanding and comprehending the customer's problem

  • actively listening, such as taking careful notes about their issues when they call, makes them trust us

  • treating them as personably as you would treat a friend

  • making sure you follow through with your promises to meet and exceed their expectations

  • it takes every person at Loc-Doc to solve a person's problem
