Monday, June 14th Conference Call
Management (Chad):
the purpose of the Monday morning conference call is to keep everyone in the company in the know regarding the projects and goals each team is working on that week, and to review the progress we're making toward our goals
our purpose is to help people protect their people and their property, and we do that with:
helpful & friendly communication
quick response times
solving problems
Training (Chad):
Thomas isn't feeling well today
two weeks ago, we were given a challenge, and this Wednesday we're going to "show and tell" our results
the rules were:
find one process that you spend a lot of time explaining to others during your workday and document it so your teammates can use that resource instead of you, OR
find one aspect of your workspace where you repeatedly spend a lot of time looking for things that aren't optimally organized, or one tool that doesn't have a "home", and take the time to run through the 5S methodology in that little area
